Wine Advocate 88 points - One of the best wines from this property, which established itself in the American marketplace 30 years ago, this blend of 58% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest the other two well-known varietals, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, is soft, round and generous, with loads of berry fruit, some licorice, roasted herbs and spice box. It is a very attractive, supple wine to drink over the next 5-7 years. (Feb 2012)

Nice berry and cherry character, with a hint of fresh herbs. Light-bodied, with good tannins and a medium finish. Lovely with ham, grilled pork, pâtés and roasted poultry.
