Wine Advocate 88 points - The 2010 Chianti Classico Capraia (90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Colorino) comes across as somewhat firm, but there is a purity to the fruit that is undeniably appealing. If the tannins soften, this will merit a higher score. For now the style remains rather taut though promising. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2020. (Jun 2012)

(WS90) This muscular red shows depth and grip, offering notes of cherry, raspberry, pomegranate and earth that ride out the firm tannins. Well-balanced in the end, conveying finesse. Best from 2014 through 2021.
