Fermented in stainless steel, the wine is juicy, fresh and youthful with a vibrant and fruity flavor. Perfectly balanced with a long, clean finish displaying stone fruit flavors.
Wine Advocate 87 points - Made from 100% Bobal (70-80 years of age) planted at a 3,000+ foot elevation, this indigenous grape has produced a vivid, strawberry and cherry-scented and flavored wine displaying crisp acidity, good freshness, an earthy, medium-bodied mouthfeel and attractive length and elegance. While I am generally not a fan of Bobal, this is a well-made wine with excellent ripeness as well as freshness. Drink it over the next several years. (Aug 2012)

(IWC90) Bright ruby. Aromas of raspberry and boysenberry, plus a complicating note of rose oil. Bright acidity adds lift and focus to the juicy dark berry flavors, which show a suave, polished character. Finishes sweet and long, with resonating spiciness and molten tannins.
The 18 acre vineyard is planted at an elevation of 3,117 feet.
