Wine Advocate 88 points - The 2011 Reserva Malbec is sourced from selected plots and spends 12 months in French oak, 20% new. It has a fragrant, floral bouquet with dark cherries, blueberry and a touch of quince that is very seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with toasty tannins. It is nicely balanced with firm structure, the attractive licorice notes of the finish infusing that lifted black fruit, then there is a salty tang discernible on the aftertaste. This should drink well over the next 5 to 6 years. Drink now-2017. (Oct 2012)

(WA89) This wine spent 13 months in French oak. Wood smoke, pencil lead, pepper, incense, black cherry, and blueberry scents inform the nose of an easygoing, succulent, uncomplicated Malbec.
