Wine Advocate 90 points - The 2011 Clos de los Siete is a blend of 56% Malbec, 14% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot and could be described as the blend of blends. It has plenty of spicy notes, black pepper, nutmeg and clove, smoke, dry hay and straw over a core of black and red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, with sleek tannins, good acidity and good length. This is a superbly-crafted wine at a good price. 450,000 bottles were produced. Drink 2014-2020. (Apr 2014)

ROBERT PARKER (92 points) A wonderfully crafted wine from one of the world's most famous winemakers, Michel Rolland. 50% Malbec, 30% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Syrah. Opaque purple-colored, it has a similar expressive nose including fragrant plum, blueberry, and black cherry. Ripe, sweet, and seamless, it admirably hides its tannin under all the fruit. It will evolve for several years but who will have the willpower to defer gratification? It is an awesome value.
