Johnnie Walker Swing was created for the 'golden age' of travel in the twenties and thirties when luxury liners carried high society passengers around the world. The Swing name derives from the rocking motion of the bottle, which swings to and fro on a convex base when gently pushed.
Swing has therefore been specially blended to reflect a perfect balance. It has a rich old gold colour and a nose of almost perfumed sweetness. It is smooth with a light freshness that covers a deeper fruitiness with some smoke and oak flavours. Unusually for a whisky it has no age statement. .
