Wine Advocate 88 points - The rose from Muga called simply 2014 Rosado is a classical ””clarete”” from the Rioja Alta, produced with Garnacha and Viura and in 2014, exceptionally, a pinch of Mazuelo (Carinena) all harvested at the same time. The full clusters are pressed directly and the different musts are blended and then put to ferment in well-seasoned oak vats where it matures in contact with the lees for some four months. It’s a pale, salmon-colored wine with a clean, focused nose and a light palate, that is pleasant, fresh and easy to drink. Bring out those lamb chops! 200,000 bottles produced. (Apr 2015)

Recommended by The Wall Street Journal: A fruit-drive Rose with flavors of sweet, ripe apple and quince. It shows a truly stunning refreshing character and a long, honeyed aftertaste. An elegant wine that finishes with a lingering touch of acidity.
