The rich, sensual aroma is typical of the grape varieties recalling small red and black berries (cherries and blackcurrants), green coffee beans, liquorice and the characteristic vanilla and leather notes from ageing. On the palate the wine is full and silky with dense, well-structured tannins.

The 2009 Gran Coronas is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo aged in French oak for 12 months, with classical notes of brick dust, leather, paprika, plums and cherries and some leafy aromas. The palate is very polished, medium-bodied, with clean, persistent flavors and good balance, with a ripe finish. Drink now-2017.
Perfect with cured meats, paellas and vegetable rice dishes, as well as meat and game recipes or when finishing off a meal with cheeses. Serve at 17șC
