Wine Spectator 89 points - The fine balance and harmony are the hallmarks of this cherry- and spice-flavored red. This is firm, yet also complex and long, with spice notes echoing on the aftertaste. Drink now through 2019. 14,800 cases imported.-BS

WINE SPECTATOR (88) Slightly jammy nose with hints of grilled meat and berry. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a medium finish. Chunky red. Best after 2005. 50,000 cases made. Excellent with savory tomato-based dishes and aged cheeses.
