Finish: Smooth, creamy finish
Ultimate Beverage Challenge 89 points - A deep and rich nose with aromas of dark caramel and tobacco leaf. It is powerful in the mouth with spice, cigar box and plenty of baking spices, and hints of campfire smoke. An intense tequila with a long finish. (Apr 2014)
Wine Enthusiast 96 points - The bouquet features wonderful aromas of caramel, cream, pastry dough and nutmeg with a background hint of honeyed peanuts. Entry is spicy and full-bodied; the midpalate displays a trace of vanillin that supports the more vibrant flavors of brine, salt, green vegetable and green pepper. Finishes clean, a touch smoky and delicately spiced. A classic añejo Tequila. Delicious.

Dark, rich colors with hints of oak and agave. Herradura Anejo should be served either straight or like a fine Cognac, in a snifter.
